III é o novo disco do ACHO MELHOR NÃO. E é quase o nosso disco de jazz.
As músicas estão mais longas e como suas estruturas foram captadas em jam sessions (e as mantivemos, adicionando posteriormente novas camadas de instrumentos), os sons mostram-se soltos e parecem muitas vezes sem sentido.
Mas é jazz? É rock, post-rock, lo-fi, música eletrônica, krautrock, indie rock, pop sessentista, ruído noventista e, esperamos, música contemporânea.
O disco foi produzido pela própria banda, só que desta vez as baterias acústicas foram gravadas no Milestone Studio, em Piracicaba.
Mas não é jazz, Lou. Acho melhor não.

III is the new ACHO MELHOR NÃO's album. And it’s almost our jazz album.
The songs are longer and, as the structures were gotten in jam sessions (and we’ve kept them, later adding new instrument layers), the sounds show themselves loose and seem sometimes meaningless.
But is it jazz? It’s rock, post-rock, lo-fi, electronic, krautrock, indie rock, 70's pop, 90’s noise and, we hope, contemporary music.
The album has been produced by ourselves, but this time the acoustic drums were recorded at Milestone Studio, in Piracicaba.
However it’s not jazz, Lou. We would prefer not to.

About the band.
Somewhat started in 2011, ACHO MELHOR NÃO (which means "I would prefer not to") is a Piracicaba-based rock band, São Paulo state’s countryside, Brazil.
The name is a reference to the tale “Bartleby, the Scrivener”, from Herman Melville.
We value the DIY method: we record, edit and produce all our songs.
Members: Ana Cândida Pi (bass), Fabio Moretti (guitar, programming), Fernando Bisan (drums, synth, voice) and Rodrigo Toledo (guitar).
